The MDL language is a structured programming language for building an application of the standard commands, functions and objectives. Here we discuss the basic methods of MDL programming. We assume that the reader is already familiar with the C programming language, it only involves a number of necessary MDL C functions. The iintent of this chapter is not to teach you how to use the C language programming, there are many books about that.
